Premium Golden-Brown Live Phyto for Reef Tanks & Aquaculture
Our 16oz bottle of live Tisochrysis lutea—often called T-Iso—is a premium golden-brown marine phytoplankton widely trusted in aquaculture for its high DHA content and excellent digestibility. It is an ideal live food for copepods, rotifers, bivalve larvae, non-photosynthetic corals, and other filter-feeding invertebrates. Whether you are culturing live prey or feeding a display reef, this strain delivers essential omega-3 fatty acids that support growth, reproduction, and overall marine health.
Why Choose Tisochrysis lutea?
Unlike green phytoplankton, Tisochrysis lutea is a golden-brown flagellate rich in DHA and other highly unsaturated fatty acids. Its small cell size and soft cell structure make it easy for many marine organisms to capture and digest, making it a staple in hatcheries and reef aquariums alike.
